Green Brook Completes Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs)

Green Brook Township recently participated in Somerset County’s Energy Audit and Renewable Energy programs. As part of the energy conservation measures that were identified from the energy audit, multiple upgrades have taken place in Township-owned buildings:

• In Town Hall, a more efficient gas-fired boiler and lighting occupancy sensors were installed.
• The Police Station building is now equipped with high efficiency lighting, gas heat units, lighting occupancy sensors and HVAC system fuel economizers.
• The Fire Houses have new lighting occupancy sensors, high efficiency lighting, programmable thermostats and HVAC system fuel economizers.
• The DPW/Senior Center building received gas-fired boilers, high efficiency lighting and heating fuel economizers.
